Monroe

Return of the medical drama, starring James Nesbitt as Gabriel Monroe, a gifted neurosurgeon whose abrasive personality often places him at odds with those around him. The series begins with Monroe preparing to operate on a patient with a potentially life-threatening condition - a decision that leads to conflict with new boss Alistair Gillespie (Between the Lines star Neil Pearson). Meanwhile, Jenny Bremner returns to work after maternity leave, only to discover her power within the hospital has greatly diminished.
