Last night, Doctor Who took a creepy turn as David Suchet opened the doors to his haunted house in Knock Knock. The episode began with new companion Bill Potts (Pearl Mackie) finally moving out of her mum's foster home but her new pad wasn't all that it appeared.

Fans eagerly tuned in, both in the UK and across the pond in the US, with scores of you taking to our Facebook page to rate your reaction to the episode: nearly 75% gave the spooky episode five stars with just 2.5% of you deeming it worthy of one star.

Meanwhile, on Twitter fans were buzzing about the various twists and turns as Peter Capaldi's Doctor set about rescuing Bill's new flat mates as one-by-one they were bumped off by a mysterious house that saw its new inhabitants as food.
