Jack Snape, a Masters student at the Courtauld Institute of Art, made his first appearance on the show last night and, while Jeremy Paxman neglected to reference his namesake, keen Harry Potter fans on Twitter were not about to let this one slip by.

Considering his current path, it's possible the student really could become "professor" Snape in the future. We live in hope.
