Ross Poldark is tenacious, adventurous and 'not guilty' in series two trailer

As if we weren't excited enough for the return of Poldark, along comes this thumping Masterpiece PBS trailer, with our resolute titular character declaring "Not guilty!", to really whet our appetites.

The second series will pick up where the story left off, with Aidan Turner himself joking the "cheery" start sees him under arrest with a company that's gone down the pan and, along with Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson), trying to come to terms with the loss of their child.

The ten brand new episodes will start airing from the 4th of September in the UK. But in the meantime, get a peek at the action here...
