Meet the cast of Clique
The BBC drama follows an society of elite women, but who exactly are they? Here's the low down on the cast and characters, ahead of the series airing on BBC1
Rachel Hurd-Wood as Rachel Maddox

Rachel is a master of human behaviour – knowing what the people around her are thinking or feeling before they do. To some extent, Rachel would be a natural soulmate for Holly – they are alike in their intelligence, their difference and their ability to read others. Rachel is a born leader, and when things around her fall apart, she is always the one to put them back together.
Where have I seen her before?
Remember the live-action Peter Pan from 2003? Hurd-Wood played Wendy. She’s also had roles in ITV wartime drama Home Fires and action flick Tomorrow, When the War Began.
Emma Appleton as Fay Brookstone

Who is Fay Brookstone?
Fay was the first person to be admitted to the Solasta Women’s Initiative. She is ambitious and beautiful, the kind of woman other girls look up to. But as we join the series, something is clearly haunting Fay – just a flicker beyond her bright smile that indicates all is not right in this glamourous world.
Where have I seen her before?
You might know her from Grantchester (where she popped up in season three), or short film Dreamlands.
Ella-Rae Smith as Phoebe Parker-Fox

Who is Phoebe?
At first Phoebe appears a loveable, minor aristocratic idiot but while she may not be a financial whizz, nobody can work a room quite like her. Life is one big party to Phoebe and she will ignore anything that threatens to kill it.
Where have I seen her before?
Smith is relatively new to screen, but you might recognise her from Marley's Ghosts, a comedy from channel Gold.
Sophia Brown as Louise Taggart

Who is Louise?
Louise is the cleverest of the girls – she’s a natural with mathematics and has worked long and hard to get where she is. She is pragmatic about her lack of people skills, and wants to rectify the imbalance but is too smart and too honest to fake it. Deep down, she admires Holly’s ability to say it like it is – and wishes she had the courage to do the same.
Where have I seen her before?
There’s a slim chance you caught Brown as Amelle Ellington in one episode of Eastenders last year, or a minor character in Casualty. However, she’s got a small role as Debutante in this year’s Beauty and the Beast live-action remake.
