Even before her two special Christmas episodes aired, Catherine Tate's Nan was causing a stir.

Accusations of racism arose when it became clear that the foul-mouthed pensioner would accuse a muslim of being a terrorist during one of her seasonal sketches. Did you find yourself wincing a little too much? Or did you think that the naysayers entirely missed the point of Tate's politically incorrect tirades?
