Ricky Gervais fans are begging him not to ditch his new sitcom idea

Been waiting since Derek’s finale in 2014 for another sitcom penned by Ricky Gervais? Wait no longer. Okay, probably wait quite a bit longer, but the wheels are in motion: Gervais tweeted he’s got a new idea for a sitcom. However, he’s currently busy crafting his next stand-up tour, Humanity, so has no time to actually write it.
