Jamie Dornan - who is the new Fifty Shades of Grey star?
From the Calvin Klein ads to The Fall to Once Upon a Time, here's where you might have seen the man who's about to play out your fantasies on the big screen
Fifty Shades of Grey fans, Jamie Dornan is about to fulfil all your fantasies.
The 31-year-old actor is the man charged with embodying S&M obsessed Christian Grey in the big screen adaptation of EL James's saucy novel.
But who IS he?
Well... You'd be forgiven for not knowing the Northern Ireland-born actor. He's a rising star, rather than a well-establshed actor, although the former model has flashed his pants on a few Calvin Klein posters (see image above) and did date Keira Knightley.
Most recently, he played an incredibly creepy serial killer alongside Gillian Anderson in BBC2's The Fall. Fans of this show might struggle to see him as sexy Christian to begin with. You certainly couldn't trust his character Paul Spectre with handcuffs. Definitely not the sort of man you'd want to meet in a dark alley, let alone invite into your bedroom.

It's not all mystery and murder though. He's also played a sexy Sheriff in US fairytale series Once Upon a Time. Fantasy stories – tick! Position of authority – tick!

In Shadows in the Sun, Dornan played a mysterious young loner. So we know he can pull off being brooding and keeping secerts, which is of course a Christian Grey must.

Dornan's first role was in Sophia Coppola's 2006 film Marie Antoinette. There's only a tiny glimpse of him in this trailer but he was playing the dashing Axel von Fersen who seduced the young queen and became her secret lover. Sounds like good practice for his role in Fifty Shades if you ask us!
