Home and Away: Kyleʼs condition worsens, while Leah and Evie have a nasty scare when their carʼs brakes fail

Monday 12 October

Zac tells Leah that he is prepared to get a paternity test if it will make her feel better. John upsets Chris by calling him a clown and telling him that he could never get someone as nice as Hannah. Evie puts on a peacemaking family lunch but tempers flare between VJ and Hunter. Leah and Evie have a near miss when their carʼs brakes fail, but was it sabotage?

Tuesday 13 October

Leah tells Zac that Hunter frightens her, and that she wants nothing to do with him any more. Josh is expelled from school for drug use. Hannah persuades Chris to get out of the house and go body-boarding with her. Irene arranges a first date with Greg Snelgrove, but worries that inviting him to her place might be too forward.

Wednesday 14 October

Kat is suspicious of all the time that Ricky and Nate are spending together and confides in Hannah, only to discover that they used to be an item. Ireneʼs date with Greg does not go smoothly, but despite her reservations she is left feeling positive about dating again. Josh takes out his frustration at being expelled on Andy, but later reassures his brother that he is determined to finish his studies.

Thursday 15 October

Nate comes clean about treating Kyle at home and is reported to the medical board. Ash struggles to deal with not knowing who the father of Phoebe's baby is, and admits that he is not sure he wants to be a dad. Kyle's condition deteriorates rapidly and the only thing that will save him is a kidney transplant.

Friday 16 October

Denny discovers that Brax is still alive and confronts Ash. James tells Roo that he loves her for the first time and the pair kiss. Kat tries to apologise to Nate for insinuating that something is going on with Ricky, but he says that there is too much baggage and that they need space. Ash finds out that he is a match and offers to donate a kidney to Kyle.
