Peter - who is currently fighting for his future after standing accused of killing Rovers Return barmaid Tina McIntyre - will be seen in an anxious state and wishing he could see his son Simon.
The guard enters and tells him that the jury is back and Peter is surprised at how quick they've been. He then prepares to go and face his fate...
“I think there’s always hope for him and that’s what he’s clinging on to,” says Gascoyne. But will Peter be sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit? Or will the search for the real killer now begin?
