Carla Barlow (Alison King) has a bombshell for husband Peter (Chris Gascoyne) next week when she reveals that she's pregnant.

Desperate to tell Peter her news, Carla will be seen snapping at her factory workers when attempts to get him alone prove unsuccessful. But later on, Carla does eventually get to break her news to Peter, who is immediately consumed with guilt.

Viewers know, of course, that Peter has been carrying on behind his wife's back with Rovers barmaid Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan). But will the news that Carla is expecting his child lead Peter to reconsider his actions? Find out when Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday 31 March.
