Carla (Alison King) looks to be buckling under the pressure next week thanks to continued police interest in her movements on the night of Tina McIntyre's murder.

In scenes to be shown on Monday 16 June, a drunk Carla will be seen being refused service by Dev. Peter (Chris Gascoyne) seizes his moment despite Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) telling him to leave her alone and helps Carla to her door. Despite Carla's protestations, it's clear that she needs help.

Next week's episodes will also see Carla and Peter seeking solace in each other's arms - but will their reconciliation be short-lived?
