A suspicious Maria has warned Aidan that something is going on between Aidan and Eva after spotting them getting close on tonight's Coronation Street.

This evening's double bill saw Adam make a play for Eva, only for her to pull away at the last minute. But the pair were unaware that their actions had been witnessed by Maria.

Heading over to see Aidan, Maria was quick to tell him that Eva wasn't to be trusted, even voicing concern that her baby might not be his:

"You'd better watch out for Adam Barlow," Maria said. "Something's going on between him and Eva, I'm sure of it. If you go ahead with this wedding, you're more of a fool than I thought."

As Corrie fans know, Eva is planning to wreak revenge on Aidan for cheating with Maria and is even lying about being pregnant in the first place.

Later this week, viewers will see Eva tell Maria that as her 'best friend' and bridesmaid, she'd like her to take over the wedding planning and get do while she's away in France.

A stunned Maria then moans about her new responsibilities to Aidan, who is still adamant that there's nothing gong on between Eva and Adam. But as Eva leaves for her trip overseas - just what is she planning next?
