Coronation Street: Izzy left devastated by Gary's shock news - full details revealed

Izzy is to be left heartbroken in next week's Coronation Street when Gary admits that he no longer wants to be in a physical relationship with her.

Izzy has come out of prison hoping to be reunited with Gary, but she'll get the first inkling that something is wrong when he struggles to come up with an answer after being asked by Sean for the secret to a successful relationship.

Then comes the moment when Izzy attempts to put the spark back into things by suggesting a holiday. To her delight, Gary reckons it's a great idea. But when Gary shows Izzy his family holiday plans, Izzy's crushed and explains that she means for it to be a romantic break for just the two of them.

Gary finally admits to Izzy that he doesn’t want a physical relationship but is happy to stay for the sake of their family, all of which leaves Izzy feeling deeply upset.

By the end of the week, Gary will be seen suggesting that he and Izzy continue to live together as friends in order to provide their son Jake with a happy home. But what will Izzy make of the idea?
