Coronation Street: Blackpool tram trauma for Jenny and Jack - see the first-look pictures

Is history about to repeat itself as the Corrie regulars decamp to Blackpool for a mini break?

Viewers with long memories will recall boo-hiss villain Alan Bradley meeting his maker thanks to an oncoming tram on the seafront back in 1989.

Now it seems that his daughter Jenny is going to have a similar encounter when she tries to save the life of Kevin's son Jack.

Scenes to be broadcast in the coming weeks find Jenny trying to exorcise some demons when she shows Johnny the place were her dad was killed all those years ago.

But a horrible reminder of the past comes when Jack flees from a Blackpool cafe and careers across the path - straight into the path of a fast-approaching tram. Can Jenny rescue him in time? Or will she herself suffer the same fate as her villainous father?
