Everything is not awesome if you’re a Lego Movie fan because it sounds as though you’ll be waiting a little longer to see a sequel hit cinema screens.

The film, originally due for release in May 2018, has been pushed back a full nine months to February 2019, according to Deadline.
That means there’ll be a full five years between the original film (released in February 2014) and its sequel.
Fans of Lego movies need not despair, though, because there are a further two due for release in the interim. Ninjago opens in cinemas in September while Will Arnett’s Lego Batman gets his solo run in May 2017.
